Score breakdown, etc

A few people I've met who read my blog have asked me to post a few details on how the scoring for my reviews work, so here ya go.

Quality

Quality is decided by the looks, design, textures and the like. It also covers how many colours an item has and how much detail the person has put in (such as studs or stitching).

Quality is one of the primary requirements of anyr estraint, simply becuase for both RP and general play, you want something that looks good right?

Function

Function covers EVERYTHING the restraint has inside it. How many plugins it has, how it locks, any extras, and mos timportantly how many poses.

While not as important in RP (a good RPer can spin it without actually even locking the toy), its still handy to have high funcitonality for things such as gagspeak and poses, and of course differant looks such as say various gags like the MD head Harness has. In general play such as Mistress and pet/slave/doll/sub it is quite important, as it allows the domme more or less control depending how much is packed in.

Price

This isn;t just "Oh it costs a lot, so it scores low", this covers whether or not I feel the restraint is worth the money. So you may see me give something worth 1000 linden a 9, btu something worth 500 a 5. This one depends heavily on the other two scores.

Average

Average = Quality+Function+Price/3 rounded to the nearest .25. Thats the equation for you Mathematicians out there.

Some other things - You can get very high qualty restraints with low function, such as the KDC Straitjacket. Then you get stuff like opencollar, which is fairly low quality, but would get high points for function. (NOTE: At this time I have no intention of reviewing opencollar gear, its noted here purely for an example)
