Appearance
These mitts have a fairly new design for SL, not quite like any others I know of on the market so far. They are made of leather, seem to be padded, and as expected, have a snug strap to ensure you can't slip them off.
They come with 9 base colours for the leather and strap, and 9 again for the metal parts, although with some variances (such as steel). You can also freely tint using the [custom] button and inputting the RGB value.They also have the store logo on them for good measure, just so your sub knows who to chase whenever they finally get free of the confines of their mitts. It has some nice touches, like the padlock on the buckle actually closing when locked, but open when unlocked.
All in all, quite a nice look, nothing I can really complain about. They are mod as well, if you want to turn shiny on, and not too hard to fit either. There's a couple of alphas, one for hiding your entire hands, another for hiding half your hand, leaving the wrists available.
Function
First and foremost is the Timelock. In here you can set up a few things, such as Public mode and Wearer only. I believe when locked, only the keyholder can adjust it, and it you timelock yourself well.. I think you know by now what happens.Colour is self explanatory. In here you can adjust the Leather (main part of the mitt), the strap, and the metal. You can also just use the three presets here which are Red/Black (default), Black/Red, and Pink/black.
The third button adjusts touch. It defaults to no far touch, when changed to World, you can;t touch anything, and no block is.. Self explanatory actually.
Finally there is the lock button. Pressing this will lock the mitts on the wearer, be it you or someone else, and take the key away. When you lock yourself, you get a little message informing you that you trapped yourself.. But thankfully it auto activates a half hour timelock as well for good measure. NOTE: if you disable the timelock, this timer will not activate. Similarly, if you disable it, adjust the time, then lock, it doesn't undisable. You'll need to find help if you do not re-enable it after adjusting.When someone else locks your mittens, they get full access to the timelock, the touch restrictions and the colour changing, leaving them free to humiliate you with neon pink mitts against whatever outfit you are forced to wear by your captor.. Beware!
My thoughts
These mitts are very nice. Yes they might seem basic, but they do what they need to, they look pretty good, and are the cheapest on the market at 149 linden.
Oh and my pics all ahd the mitts edited to have shiny on low, force of habit, forgot to turn off before taking them and I'm WAY too lazy to fix that.

Appearance - 7/10 - Unique for SL look, always nice.
Function - 7/10 - Does exactly what it needs to, no more, no less (yet! they will be updated based on feedback)
